No: Just like for girls, the recommended timing for the hpv vaccine for males is age12-26. Hpv is just as prevalent in the us as in other countries. Hepatitis b is the other vaccine that might be helpful.The other sexually transmitted infections are preventable by using condoms every time, no matter who he is dating.

No: Although it may work better when given prior to sexual activity, it still is effective given any time. Current recommendations allow it to the age of 26.

Not at all: This is a form of pro-active defense against various strains of HPV. The current Gardasil 9 covers 7 cancer related and 2 wart related strains. It can help anyone with a competent immune system develop protective antibodies. Some insurers won't cover its pricy cost after age 26, or not at all, but it is a good idea.
