A member asked:

Can i have kids now that i have type 2 herpes? what are the big and small risks?

Sure: If this prevented you from being a mother, the birth rate would be much, much lower. You do need to let your physician know if junior might be born while you're having a flare-up. Especially, you need to let any possible partner know about the risks, and use barrier protection until you're in a permanent, monogamous relationship.
