Does percutaneous cholecystectomy or a thbc affect peritoneal dialysis in any way?

Absolutely..: Both of these procedures leave you with a tube entering the abdomen through the abdominal wall. This is not compatible with peritoneal dialysis.

Lap chole: Laparascopic cholecystectomy has lesser risk to PD than open cholecystectomy. There should be some interruption for about one week, then one can resume PD with lower volumes and gradually raise fill volumes. Back up HD is typically necessary.

No PD for 4 weeks: You should hold peritoneal dialysis for a few weeks. 4-6 to allow the port incisions to heal before you go back to peritoneal dialysis
