A member asked:

How to ease menstraul pain? i haven't had my period for three months now and i just started menstrating today. it hurts a lot but it didn't used to.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Menstrual pain: Common ways to alleviate the menstrual pain is to use a heating pad and a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen (advil) or Naproxen (aleve). This is usually enough. In some cases stronger medications may be needed, but that would be for a doc to decide.
