It's the excessive: Menstrual flow that may have caused vulvar irritation and not the low iron. Excessive menstrual bleed could be due to uterine fibroids, ovarian cyst etc and will cause low iron/ anemia. Follow up with ur gyn. Take care! http://www.Diagnose-me.Com/symptoms-of/metrorrhagia.Html.
