Depends: It depends on the type of murmur. If for example, the murmur suggests critical aortic stenosis or some other condition that might require valvular surgery it is not uncommon to perform coronary angiography at the time of catheterization. That is because you if you need valve surger and have significant blockages you can get everything fixed at the time of surgery.
