Contact.: Community acquired c. Diff is becoming more common. This is through contact with the stool of an infected person. Alcohol based gels don't work for c.Diff, you have to use soap and water to clean hands properly. It's also picked up in hospitals (more frequent), so wash your hands a lot if you visit a loved one there!
