Ear wax: Normally, ear wax will exit the ear canal as the skin grows out and flakes off. In some people, the canal is too narrow for this natural process to take place. Others are users of 'earbuds' or cotton swabs; both can push the wax further into the ear. Only trained professionals should try to remove stuck (impacted) wax. Do not place anything into your ear canal. You can do serious harm.
