1 explanation: If heavy ; prolonged, is a chance it could be due to an incomplete miscarriage, which may need a d;c or other gyn intervention. If "just" a heavy period, can be waited out as long as not weak / dizzy (=possibly anemic). Best to call your gyn for check.

Hello doctor i don't want to be pregnant but I'm scared because i had my regular period this month with normal sized blood clots but after two days it ceased and i just had brown/black spotting which wasn't too light but it wasn't too thick either. ?
