Are you under the : Care of a psychiatrist? Most often an MRI is not required for this condition. I would sit down with your provider to go over the diagnostic assessment that is planned. He or she should have an idea of what is medically indicated (which often goes hand in hand with what your insurance company will pay for). Take care.
