Boil: A boil may heal / drain on its own. Wam compresses may help a boil drain spontaneously. If a boil does not drain/heal by it self then it requires antibiotics/surgical drainage.

Tea bag compress: Agree with dr. G. Try a tea bag compress. Dip your tea bag in hot water. Squeeze out the tea. Now you have a handy mini-compress to put on your boil. Hope you feel better!
