Emotions: Not everyone experiences their emotions most powerfully in the chest -- but it sounds like you do. It's not uncommon to have this sensation, as there are large concentrations of autonomic nerve cell bodies in the chest which can fire in response to stimuli, with impulses relayed quickly to the brain and limbic system. The pelvis and belly contain a lot of these also.
