This isn't politics: The fact is that essentially all young men and most young women enjoy their bodies when they are by themselves. It will not make you bald, hairy, smooth, pimply, demented, a criminal, an unfit spouse, short, fat or any of the other things that folks warn against. You learn about your body ; stay comfortable. There's nothing 'spiritual' about attempting an impossible standard of abstinence.

Please......: Please substitute sex for the term masturbation to get a real feeling for what you are asking.This would remove all the societal shaming and myths. One should be neither for or against something that is considered normal.
