Antibiotics and OCPs: Potential interaction between ocp's and antibiotics is overstated. Only known issue is with rifampin, an antibiotic generally used only for treatment of tb. Some concern exists for penicillin antibiotics, but risk of ocp failure is believed to be low. For your own peace of mind, however, consider using condoms and/or some other method until you have finished antibiotics and are on next pack.
