Time: Most calf 'strains' involve the medial head of the gastrocnemius muscle group. Most commonly injured in middle age((30-55). Usually takes minimum of 6 weeks for these to heal ( depending on severity). Time generally heals this injury( along w/ nsaids, heel lift etc). Start walking first w/o lift, then fast walk , then jog. When u can run w/ minimal discomfort your calf strain should be healed. Gl!
