Who uses alprostadil?

Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Erectile Dysfunction: Men w/erectile dysfunction often use some form of Alprostadil if they don't respond to oral pde-5 inhibitors like cialis, levitra, (vardenafil) staxyn, stendra & viagra. Men w/ed who also take nitrates are forbidden from taking pde-5 inhibitors and thus must use Alprostadil or some other therapeutic ed option. Alprostadil can be placed intraurethral or injected intracavernosal. Ask your family doc for options.
