Mirena IUD: Not sure what "...and IV it in" means, but IUD's can be pushed by uterine contractions into the cervical canal, where the protection against pregnancy is much less. Get a serum HCG test to make sure you are not pregnant. If positive, see your gyn provider for an exam and treatment.
