Acetaminophen effects on the elderly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Acetaminophen elders: Acetaminophen is extremely safe and is the safest mild pain or fever medicine that elderly persons can take. The only concern would be if the elderly person has severe chronic liver disease or chronic alcoholism or takes more than 3000 mg a day for a long period of time.
