Unfortunately, yes.: Blacks/african americans are disproportionately affected by chlamydia, a sexually transmitted infection. 2010 cdc data shows the rate for black/african american men and women is 1, 167.5 cases per 100, 000 people, american indians/alaskan natives is 592.8 cases per 100, 000, hispanic/latinos is 369.6 cases per 100, 000, and white/caucasian is 138.7 cases per 100, 000.

Yes in US. : According to the cdc, incidence of std including chlmaydia is higher among minorities. But this is more likely due to socioeconomic factors than racial predisposition.
