Lumbar spine?: You might have sprained your spine and if the pain persists for more than a few days or gets worse, consider seeing an orthopedic doctor.

That is a tough one: Sudden pain in around waistline down without injury--could be a kidney stone or could just be ovulation pain (a follicle containing the egg ruptured). Suddent onset of pain radiating down all the way to the foot is tough to explain in a 20 yr w/o injury. I recommend seeing doc for eval if it persists. Good luck.
