See Physician: Your physician will remove the mole or refer you to a dermatologist for the service, if indicated. Area will be numbed and mole removed w scalpel or electrocautery. You'll be numbed up, so it will not hurt.

Depends: I suggest you make an appointment with a dermatologist a skin doctor. They will look at the lesion and give you options for treatment. The doctor will probably give you a small injection of anesthesia a little bee sting to numb the site. Then they will probably biopsy the mole using a surgical tool. It should not hurt too much...
