A history, discussio: a full physical exam is not absolutely indicated in order to prescribe birth control pills. Your ObGyn can sit and talk to you prior to prescribing birth control pills. Based on your history, concerns, he/she may elect to perform a physical exam and maybe a pelvic exam. Dont be anxious. They are there to help you. Regards Dr M
