Get a check up: It is not uncommon for it to take 6-8 weeks to resume normal cycles again after a pregnancy termination. And the pregnancy symptoms might be confused with pms symptoms. However, an exam, and maybe an ultrasound, would be helpful at differentiating between possible problems that could cause these symptoms.

Get checked: Periods can take a while to reestablish after any pregnancy so this is not necessarily abnormal. However, considering your symptoms, you should at least get a blood test and possibly an ultrasound.
