See answer: Whereas vomiting after drug ingestion is associated with inadequate absorption, diarrhea usually occurs from the lower aspect of the gastrointestinal tract (colon), occurring after the drug has been absorbed into your body and blood stream. Bottom line: no need to repeat dose. Repeat testing is usually recommended at 3 months to rule out reinfection and no sooner than 3 weeks after treatment.
