Not sure: Bloating is more common during the beginning of a period, less so at the end of it and fairly uncommon after the period is over, although, some women have protracted pms (premenstrual syndrome) when the symptoms remain prominent before throughout and even after the period.

Possibly: Bloating is a very nonspecific symptom, but certainly could be temporarily caused by your period. There is more concern if it is a problem at other times as well.
