What is the cause of pain in testis?

Nothing benign: Trauma, torsion, infection, you must see your doctor for proper evaluation and therapy. Until then wear a jock strap.

Here are...: - infection-related, such as std-/uti-related, or mumps; - torsion-related (testis or appendages), acute or recurrent intermittent; - referring-pain-related, such as stone, spinal nerve irritation from djd, pinched nerve, even rare single - newgrowth-related although usually painless; generally, a detailed hx, and physicals, possible tests should be able to deliver a correct DX most of times.
