Stress and pregnancy: Stress causes hormonal levels to change enough to produce amenorrhea (lack of menstruation) and lack of ovulation, causing bloating, pain and fluid retention which can be misinterpreted as being pregnant (pseudocyesis) sometimes there are medical conditions associated to stress, and hormonal levels need to be measured, and treatment initiated soon to prevent long term effects.
