Phentermine : Phentermine mechanism of action is to release norepinephrine which works on the hypothalamus of the brain to reduce hunger. It also to a smaller extent releases Dopamine and serotonin. It is thought to also inhibit reuptake of Dopamine and seratonin. Most of any withdraw symptoms would be increased hunger and fatigue. These symptoms usually last for 2-3 days or up to a couple of weeks.
