Yes : Conjunctivitis is often caused by a viral infection in your body, in which your eyes are generally secondarily involved. The viral syndrome often has associated aches and pains in joints and muscles, sore throat and invariably headaches. Often treatment involves rest, fluids, analgesics for pain and fever, and irrigation and cleansing the eye secretions. Sometimes the eyes require other treatments.
