Yes: Autism is not necessarily an intellectual disability. Iq scores can be misleading to their true innate intellectual potential.

Absolutely: I have found many autistic kids very prolific with computer technologies and encourage them and their parents to broaden these interests. They truly listen to a different drummer and we need to help them find their way.
