Yes: The lentils are great. It is ideal to give babies foods that grow from a flower (includes traditional fruits and all beans) until age one and then give vegetables (broccoli, potatoes, kale, etc.) you can give broccoli and lentil soup as long as it is not so chunky he/she could choke on pieces. Be sure the child has had the lentils and broccoli separate before you give them together..
