Adjuncts only: Acne is difficult enough without having unrealistic expectations from "pop" remedies. Tea tree oil may prove your best try; cider vinegar may help. Lemons and sleeping with your face smeared with honey won't help. If you're not clear with benzoyl peroxide, be an adult and get with your personal physician; all acne can be cleared (tho not cured) with prescription-strength rx, perhaps even the pill.

See a dermatologist: Proactiv is expensive. The active ingredient is 21/2% benzoyl peroxide. If you go to your pharmacy you can buy benzoyl peroxide for $5-10. If you have significant acne a skin specialist will help you. Home remedies will not be worth the time or money.
