Hypoglycemia: It's possible that you're having a marked drop in blood sugar (hypoglycemia, Insulin reaction)during sleepand the body reacts by secreting Adrenalin which in turn causes sweats. This sometimes causes the blood sugar to rise too much and be high upon awakening.
