Anovulation: When you don't ovulate you still produce estrogen. Ovulation stabilizes, prepares for pregnancy and cuses a normal period when it doesn't happen. If you go long enough without ovulating any bleeding pattern can follow. Abnormal bleeding can also be pregnancy related. Treating withprogesterone can fix it.
