If a person's heart has extra sound, will it be shown in his electrocardiography?

No: In the old days, doctors did phonocardiograms which will show an extra sound. For academic purposes only, it can still be done but they are obsolete now because modern echocardiography has supplanted this method with a much more accurate technology. Most doctors offices won't have the equipment to do a phono anymore. Ekg is not able to detect sounds, only electrical events.

I often get heart palpitations that come on very sudden and last for only a few seconds. Example-skip normal normal skip skip normal skip. Feels like extra beats. Then HR shoots up and I feel super anxious. No other SMPTMS. Does this sound dangerous?
