It is normal: Some women can have egg white mucus before periods and it is normal but egg white mucus before ovulation makes it ideal envoirenment for sperms helping them swim up from the cervix and survive and increases chances of pregnancy. But egg white mucus before periods does not increase chances of getting pregnant.
