Delayed period ?'s: At age 36, it may take more stimulation by your pituitary to force ovulation to occur, which delays the onset of your next period, which will occur only after 14 days after ovulation, whenever it occurs. Periods tend to then become "regular" again thereafter. Rarely, this may indicate pre-mature menopause.
