She tried marijuana and says it helps calm her (she is bi polar) & can't find right meds 2 help her. i am afraid tht weed will escalate her disorder?

Very helpful for some: While I do not recommend the use of any illegal substance, I have known a number of people with bipolar disorder and other forms of emotional distress who have reported that marijuana provides them with more of a calming experience than any medicine taken and with fewer side effects.
