Birth defect: Club foot also known as congenital talipes equinovarus is a foot defect that exists at birth. It is not exactly known if genetics or environmental forces are solely responsible for this condition. It is most likely a combination of both. This is a relative common birth defect. However with early intervention most cases can be treated completely.
