Yes: Pneumonia is inflammation usually caused by infection in the lungs. Most of the time, the pneumonia causes fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath and other symptoms as it irritates the lungs and airways. In rare cases the pneumonia may be early or not cause the symptoms so that you may not be aware of its presence.
