Metallic taste: Some medications cause this. However, there are a host of other medical and dental causes. Start by seeing your dentist, followed by your physician until you can determine what is causing this in your case.

Lots: Side effect of some medications, anything that causes bleeding such as gum disease, gerd, infected tooth, and so much more. Please make an appointment with your dentist, as metallic taste more often from dental issues. If your dentist says your ok, next stop is with your physician.
