How Bent?: Almost all penises have some curvature when erect. Small amounts of curvature do not affect function. Severe bends, usually due to trauma or scar tissue, are not as common and may require surgery to make them functional for sex.

Only slight chance: Of developing bend if man grew up with a straight penis. Peyronie's disease or a penile fracture are the 2 causes of a secondary bent penis. Boys born congenital penile chordee and many boys born with hypospadias have a bent penis. Occasional boy has a deviated penis with a sideways bend.
