Not that useful: A dry retinoscopy is a measurement of refractive error done without drops and provides a reasonable starting point for a subjective refraction, the test that determines your best glasses prescription. A mohindra retinoscopy is a test done on children which is similar to a dry retinoscopy. In dry retinoscopy, the patient looks at a distance target and in mohindra, a close target is used.
