Cancer: Xray involves ionizing radiation which in moderation will not be dangerous. Multiple high dose studies like ct, pet ct, some nuclear scans in short intervals of time can lead to possible cancer. .Children have a 3‐5 times larger radiation‐induced cancer mortality risk than adults. The individual risk from the radiation associated with a ct scan is quite small compared to the benefits that accurate diagnosis and treatment can provide.
