Multiple high dose studies like ct, pet ct, some nuclear scans in short intervals of time can lead to possible cancer. .Children have a 3‐5 times larger radiation‐induced cancer mortality risk than adults.The individual risk from the radiation associated with a ct scan is quite small compared to the benefits that accurate diagnosis and treatment can provide.
