Need information: Is this one eye only and is the vision affected? Are there other symptoms like pain, discharge, irritation, itching? These will help narrow down the cause. Bleeding on the surface of one eye is also a cause. If the vision is down, or the eye hurts, or there is pus - then see your ophthalmologist.
