Absent testicle: Several possibilities: it may have been removed as a child; it maybe undescended(did not migrate into the scrotum), it may have atrophied from infection or mumps: you may have had a torsion causing atrophy of the testicle; rarely you are born with only one. An u/s may help determine what happened.
