Please help! what is the disease polydactyly?

Not disease but a...: Condition 1 is born with. Poly=many, dactyl= fingers or toes. Not a congenital defect but it does run in families. Usually treated in early life by a hand surgeon or a pediatric surgeon experienced in the field.
