Yes it is possible: It is possible to get pregnant with only one ovary. Tubal ligation is 99% effective, but there is a chanceba pregnancy could happen. If you get pregnant after a tubal ligation it is important to seek care immediately as there is a higher chance of ectopic pregnancy whichcan be life threatening.

Yes: Tubals can sometimes be reversed. You can also have IVF done where they take sperm and egg and combine them outside the uterus and place the embryo into the uterus, bypassing the tubes. If you are thinking of getting pregnant at the age of 48, you should contact a fertility specialist ASAP.
