Allergic Rhinitis: Hay fever or allergic rhinitis can be controlled with oral antihistamines and nasal steroids if the triggers are seasonal and cannot be avoided. Skin testing can be useful to make sure you know what the triggers are. This can be done by an allergist. She then can help you with the medication management and help you decide whether desensitization (shots) may be beneficial.
