A member asked:

Please help! what is the name of the drug they give you right before undergoing surgery that puts you to sleep?

It depends: The drug that "puts you to sleep" is usually (but not always) propofol. However, there are many other drugs given before right before you fall asleep, so Propofol might not be the drug you are referring to. Also, there are many alternatives to propofol, so it truly depends.
